- Beginning in 2004, spearheaded the largest migration project in company history, the migration from World to E1 8.11 SP1.
- Designed and developed GUIs, business functions, and automated processes. Some of the processes designed included pay validation, electronic bill of lading retrieval, user defined database, tax calculations, tax exemptions, and invoices.
- In 2011, played a key role in the migration to E1 9.0 by reviewing all custom applications and reports, verified, and modified where appropriate for the application or report to function correctly in E1 9.0.
- In 2013, worked with our HR-Payroll, Accounts Payable, Tax & Banking, and Refined Oils & Inventory Accounting departments for the migration to E1 9.1.
- Point of Sale System. In 2007, the company was investigating a replacement to its aging Point of Sale System, MoblCode. One product we looked at, called SMARTLogix, had a promising wholesale delivery PoS solution, but the company needed a retail solution. I analyzed the SMARTLogix system, re-designed the database, and designed a front-end web-based solution for our retail locations. I worked with the team at SMARTLogix to turn their application into a retail application. I developed an algorithm for calculating K-Factors for scheduling propane deliveries, and developed logic to handle excise and sales tax processing in all 50 states. The PoS system recorded billions of dollars in sales transactions.
- Petro-Card 24 Unattended Fueling System. In 2006, I assumed analysis and development of MFA Oil Company’s Petro-Card 24 Unattended Fueling Site point-of-sale application. Analyzed and developed enhancements to handle gift cards, expanded the range of our universal proprietary card, handled real-time completions, performed routine auto-cleanup functionality, complied with PCI measures, and implemented two-level supervisor access security. Petro-Card 24 recorded billions of dollars in sales transactions.
